My Role as Student Counsellor

1. Primary Point of Contact for Enquiries
I handle all student and parent enquiries across phone calls, emails, social media, and campus visits. My aim is to provide prompt, accurate, and empathetic guidance regarding:

• Academic programs and specializations
• Admission criteria and procedures
• Fee structure, scholarships, and financial assistance
• Campus infrastructure and student support
• Placement opportunities and career prospects

Every inquiry represents a student’s dream, and I respond with professionalism and care.

2. Guidance Through the Admission Process
I simplify the admission journey by assisting with documentation, program selection, application tracking, and enrolment procedures. Special support is extended to out-of-state and international students regarding accommodation, travel, and orientation.

3. Academic and Career Counseling
Through one-on-one sessions, I help students identify strengths, explore academic pathways, choose specializations, pursue internships, and plan their careers. The goal is to nurture confident, industry-ready individuals.

4. Communication Bridge Between Students and the Institution
I ensure seamless communication among students, parents, and institutional departments so that academic information, campus updates, and administrative matters are conveyed promptly and transparently.

5. Managing Enquiries Across Multiple Contexts
I address queries related to:

• Pre- and post-admission processes
• Academic scheduling, examinations, and results
• Hostels, transport, and campus facilities
• Internships, placements, and skill development
• Alumni engagement and continuing education

Each interaction is handled with confidentiality, professionalism, and empathy.

6. Emotional and Personal Support
Recognizing that student life also involves emotional challenges, I provide guidance on managing stress, adapting to campus life, and achieving a healthy academic–personal balance.

7. Institutional Promotion and Outreach
I represent GGI at education fairs, school outreach programs, virtual counselling sessions, and online information campaigns, ensuring prospective students feel welcomed and well-informed.
